One of the most important and demonstrative advantage of cold contacts is – saving time. Imagine, that you got an appointment with your friend in order to tell him about business possibilities, and to tell him about production. And of course for half an hour at the beginning you will recall and ask what has happened new in your friend`s life since last time you have seen each other. Then for half an hour you will talk about changes in your lives, then your will talk about changes in your common friends` lives, and only then, if you have time left ,you will use 10 or 15 minutes to talk about business, and that is why exactly you invited a person for a meeting. As a result we spend a couple of hours on one person, though working at the cold market for two hours we are able to communicate with a great deal of people, receiving a concrete answer and contact information in the case of successful conversation. Besides, people are always late and after getting an appointment, we are waiting for them for 15-20 minutes. You waste your valuable 15 minutes, when these minutes, spending on cold contacts could bring you several questionnaires. Once a friend of mine told me the following story. He got an appointment with a girl from his recommendation list. When he came to the appointment, he was waiting for her for 15-20 minutes, but his ”friend ”was late. When he looked around he saw the girl, who also seemed to be waiting for someone. He decided to check whether this girl was waiting for him. It was not that girl, but nevertheless they began talking and my friend told her about the appointment and about the company where he works. The girl, with whom my friend got an appointment didn`t show up, but his new friend was getting interested in his short story, was putting questions and clarifying. As a result she signed an agreement and became the active partner, and then a wife. One cold contact- and a man got not only a partner but also a family happiness. Cold contacts also can save your time when you work with the acquaintances list: you will be able to work with your clients much faster. How do used to work at the ”warm” market? You call all people , find clients, then you are to visit them, tell about new products, receive and convey orders. As often, all your acquaintances live in the different sides of town, it means that you need a lot of time to convey all of them. Of course you can not gather all them together at one place, so it is easier to get new acquaintances at one place. If you need to find 20 clients, then you choose the suitable district for you(as a rule, it`s a place where you live or the neighborhood),then take the questionnaire and visit their homes. Now if you want to work with all your clients , you don`t have to convey all town, you can just take the production and go over one district. Practice. The third day 1. Try to recall and write down three examples of your life, when your initiated contact let you to spend your time forced with the benefit. 2. Every day you should find the possibility to display initiative in bustle and take three cold contact in order to spend your time with benefit by force, and in the evening write down the description of your experience, which you got in your “ Diary of success”.
