Cold contacts- is a good opportunity to widen your acquaintances circle, especially for the people who are just begin to cooperate with the  company.
Each of us have certain acquaintances circle. If we are doctors, then are in the doctors circle, if we are teachers – in the teachers circle. If we are students, we communicate with students. The guarantee of successful business is the structure of  people with different professions with different skills, different spheres of activity. Such team will work well. That is why there is a problem how to attract people from different segments.
Once I was a witness of such story.
Two students came to one netter company, concerning health improvement products. They needed money, as all students did. These two girl lived in a hostel. Their parents helped them to buy food and they also paid for studying. But they had not money for fashioned clothes, night clubs and cosmetics. They learnt about  extra earnings, signed the agreements and they began working with cold contacts.
Of course they began with their acquaintances. When they showed the catalogue to their groupmates and teachers, they understood that students were not interested in their health for now but teacher, if even they were, they didn`t want to spend their money on this. And arised the necessity to find people, who would be interested in this production.
Girls were ready to work, they liked the production and possibilities, but they had not certain acquaintances circle to  sell it.  Together we worked out the questionnaire, they chose a little microdistrict  and began visit homes and put people some questions. Practically in two months a group of clients with good incomes, who took care of  their health was formed. It was comfortable for them to receive consultations and products at home, they liked that they didn`t have to visit doctors, to go to the hospitals, to stay in lines, to buy medicine at  chemist's, to doubt whether this medicine would be effective. So these girls could be compared with the family doctor.
Practically in two months these girls` incomes noticed their groupmates. They began to ask them, as they wanted to earn money. The microdistrict was separated into smaller districts and in half a year their income exceeded the income of a skilled doctor. After that the teachers got interested in this business. So their structure began to breed and in a year girls became big leaders, they got good incomes and their structure began to develop. All that happened because they leave their usual acquaintances circle.
Street, flats, offices- this is an opportunity to get acquaintance with those people, whom we are not able to meet in our usual life. I got a lot of acquaintances through cold contacts: with wife of the director of TV channel, with a person, who does oil barging, deputy and with a chief  of tax inspectorate.
Once one woman told training, that she met a man, who was a television anchorman of a sport channel. They had a little talk, he wasn`t interested in her offer, but they exchanged their  business cards. This woman`s son was a football fan and there was a football match, which  took place in their town. Her son was trying to get the tickets but failed. And then he asked his mother for help. The woman recalled that she had already known the television anchorman of a sport channel. She called him and he got two tickets without any problems and in the first rows. Her son went to the football match and was so excited because he was thankful to his mother that he was ready to do all the housework by himself.
All people are just the strangers in the street. You get new clients and partners from  different segments of people through communicating with them and of course you widen your acquaintances list.

Practice. The fourth day
1. In daily bustle, being in the people`s stream, pay your attention to faces surround you, feel their looks, make a note for yourself and get what do you feel to the concrete person. All people differ and your feelings toward them differ too: one is good –looking, another man evokes a smile, someone can be serious, self-contained and this one is kind, that one has sense of humor. Among them you will notice people from different segments.  Make a note of three persons, who were brighter and write down about them in “Dairy of success”.
 2. Every day, when you individually take the initiative, introduce yourself to the bright, good – looking candidates, and tell them about your feelings and will to meet them. For example,” When I look at you, it elevates my mood, and I want to thank you for that. My name is Nikolai, and you?” Make a note of your emotions and person`s reaction.
