Each of us has his/her own frameworks we live in. There is an idea of possible and impossible.
Starting a new business a person expects something from it, based on his/her own already developed realization. The list of acquaintance in front seems to be totally complete; we think we can’t put a line more, even if it consists of 500-600 names.
Prospected income inside the organization is limited by our idea of possibilities. Inner understanding of impossibility to earn more than a definite amount is inevitable.
The most widespread self-restriction is an idea of how much a person can earn himself. If a person got used that the income of people in his surrounding varies in the limits of 2-3 thousand UAH, then when starting communication outside, it turns out that people whose income greatly exceeds the earnings we admit live beside us.
For an acquaintance of mine a talk outside with a stranger turned into a complete revelation. Having visited a presentation he said himself he could earn 10 or 15 thousand UAH, to earn more was impossible. With cold contact he came up to a person to ask if there was anyone among his acquaintances whose income was equal to living-wage and, to his mind, how much the amount should be. It turned out the person had no such acquaintances. Later we found out that person earned 100 000 UAH per month. That moment something turned up in my friend’s mind: he realized the aims he had were so petty that they could be rised more and more, what he needed was to start communicating with necessary people.
Once the same scales fell from my eyes.
When I just started my business I thought that the highest possible order for one customer was 300 USD, more could not be. A customer, “an oilman”, who dealt with oil transportation, finally was ready for an order. Before this he meticulously inquired about everything, questioned, sent the products for different examinations, which had been examining them for two months. When finally he was convinced in the quality, he bought the products for a sum of about 100 USD, but warned that he would check the goods, only then he would decide on the products he would have for himself and would take, and which he would give me back .He did give me back several items. But on the first month he took products only for himself, on the second month he took it for himself and his wife, then for himself, his wife, his son and for his mother-in-law, on the forth month he took for himself, his wife, his son, his mother-in-law, his daughter and his son-in-law. It was his last order as the customer which made up 3000 USD from a family.
Being a wise man he calculated my interest from sale and took an interest in business, though such an opportunity did not attract him before. I told everything I knew about the opportunities in the company but he was interested in much higher scales. I introduced him to my sponsor. Having talked to him my “oilman” in the first day of his activity carried out the volume of turnover for the sum of 20 000. Then it was absolutely incredible sum of a single order for me.
Going out, talking with people, overcoming fears, learning to constantly find new customers and realizing that people, and customers as well, never finish, that their current is endless, we will remove our barriers and will stop thinking by final categories. We will realize that having planned the income of 100 thousand UAH this month we can suddenly find someone who will put the amount twice higher. The question: HOW? Practice. The eighth day
1. In everyday fuss observe those who in their everyday professional activity deal with cold contacts promoters, stewardesses, conductors, beggars in the subway, “beggary” by the church. Note society layer active in communication and response of people around.
2. Every day take the initiative thrice, addressing to strangers with an impossible, to your mind, request, which is out of the framework standards of behavior that exist for you. Ask for money for a drive, offer to exchange cell phones, explaining that you like his/her model very much and you’ve been dreaming of it for a long time. Ask to give you a present, because the person appeals you, or suggest taking something from you as a present, advisable a thing you offer is precious for you, explain you will be pleased if he/she takes your present and you will be thankful. Important to keep in mind that your aim is not to exchange cell phones or to get a present, your aim is to address to a person with a similar request.
