A monkey is sitting on a branch of a tree over the river and rinsing banana peel in a water. A crocodile is swimming past the monkey and asks her: “Monkey, what are you doing?” – “Make money”. The crocodile wondered at such an answer, swam further, but the curiosity didn’t leave him in peace. He swims back and says: “Look, monkey, I see, that you are just rinsing banana peel in a water, but you says, that you are making money, tell me, how?” The monkey answers: “If you give me 100 dollars, I’ll tell you”. For several minutes the crocodile was deep in thought, but then gave monkey the money and asked again how she was making money! The monkey answers: “It’s easy, I’m just seating and striking by a peel on a water.” The crocodile was upset about loosing the money and told the monkey: “Monkey, you are too stupid! Who makes money like you do?” And the monkey answers: “May be I’m stupid, but I’ve already made 100 dollars!”
Conclusion: if you are doing one and the same thing for a long time, you are sure to get the result.

As people say, constant dropping wears away the stone. It’s possible to achieve the mastery only by means of numerous repetitions. When you do your business all the time, even that people, who refused your offer, can change their point of view.

I had such a case in my practice. Every day during several months I handed round 200-300 leaflets near the central department store. In two months a very imposing man came up to me and asked how effective my work was. It turned out, that he had heard about network marketing from people he knew, who tried to do it, but nothing came out of it and they gave up and told everybody, that network marketing is a flimflam lottery. My constant and persistent activities attracted his attention. I suggested him meeting, and this man became my partner, whereas, when we met he had his own business and was looking for new opportunities for growth. What is more interesting, when I gave him a leaflet at the very beginning of my marathon, which lasted for several month, he threw it away.
“To catch” a big leader just for two months isn’t it a great result?
Now, my dear reader, I’ll tell you a parable about master of swords. Once upon a time it was a man, who knew how to use swords to perfection, nobody else could boast of such virtuosic mastery as he possessed. Once a young man came to his place and asked master to teach him his art. The master of swords advised him to go to the town square and during two years constantly unsheathe and sheathe his sword. The young man hadn’t to interrupt neither for eating, nor for any other thing, only an overwhelming desire to sleep could interrupt his occupation. Following the master’s advice, the young man went to the square. All days long he did one and the same thing – unsheathe and sheathe his sword. Initially, people were surprised, but then they began to take pity on him and brought him something to eat and drink. Legends were composed about young man’s persistence. Two years passed and the young man came back to the master to ask him to teach him further.  He asked master to teach him to use the sword again. And the master answered: “Did you hear how people call you in the town? You are the master of swords! You don’t need me teaching you any more, you’ve got all skills”.
Do you want to become a master of cool contacts? The way to it is lying through the square, cool contacts, and, of course, through the people, who will recognize you to be the master.
Practice.
Collect your own statistics: fix there the quantity of your attempts, the quantity of positive contacts, identifying the effectiveness of your work. And you’ll see that your effectiveness increases with a growth of the common number of attempts.
